The 2014 Sochi Winter Games are here and I’m on the ground in Sochi having a great time. If you missed it, I’m here working for the Organizing Committee through February and am super excited to play a small role in these Games. Sochi is being called “the most compact Winter Games ever” but there are still two very separated areas of Sochi playing host to the world. On the coast sits the Coastal Cluster and then in the mountain resort town of Krasnaya Polyana sits the “Mountain Cluster” which is home to the outdoor sports like skiing, snowboarding, bobsled and biathlon. Over the last few days I’ve spent a lot of time hanging out in the Sochi Mountain Cluster so I thought I would share a first look at the venues that are already being shown around the world.
My favorite area in the Mountain Cluster is a resort town called Rosa Khutor. In fact I like it so much I did a separate post just on it!
